Heyo, just wanted some second opinions for a build I'm working on for my half-orc slayer.
I mostly wanted to focus on the fear based slayer feats, going Intimidating Prowess>Killing Flourish>Gruesome Slaughter, grabbing things like Cornugon Smash and Hurtful to add insult to injury, or injury to insult as the case may be.
I did also thinking of getting Dazzling Display to get Disheartening Display as well as Gory Finish to let me to do the same area debuff when killing a foe.
Adding to that, I was wondering whether or not to shift over to urban barbarian after level 7, as I've heard that's when Slayer begins to tapper out in terms of new goodies.
My biggest concern is how useful this build will be as a frontliner during a Council of Thieves game. All I know is that it's in Cheliax, which gives me pause about investing too much into fear effects, seeing as the population is probably used to wearing brown trousers on a daily basis.
We're starting level 1 of course, my stats are as follows, including racial stat bonus (25 point buy, nothing below 10 or above 16 before racial modifiers)
Str: 18
Dex: 14
Con: 14
Wis: 12
Int: 12
Cha: 11
If you've seen the thread about how many weapons a half-orc can carry, you'll know that my main weapon is a Falchion, along with several contingency weapons ranging from a lucerne hammer to darts inside spring-loaded wrist sheaths.
Edit: I also went for the Vanguard archetype because I figured the growing Initiative bonus would pay for itself in the long run.

Anti-fear effects would be good to have in Cheliax but really, how many are there? Paladins will be rare there, the remove fear spell costs an action, most of your enemies won't be undead (haven't played the AP, assuming from the name.) You may be jumping at shadows with your worry about the usefulness of fear effects.
