Expiration of spell like abilities of disapeared summoned creatures

Rules Questions

Will the effect of spell like ability continue to exist after the death / end of summoned creature which has cast it?

Rules specifically mention spells of summoned creatures to cease:

but there is nothing about spell like abilities.

You're right, it doesn't say.

The only sane ruling is to have all effects which have a duration and which came from the creature expire.

There is not.

There has been some discussion on this board about the implications of Spell-Like Abilities and other abilities with duration. A recent thread that went into this topic was Summon monster time question, which includes references to other earlier threads and FAQs about this.

Thanks for the link. It seems to me that everybody is playing it like Wheldrake suggested.

Does anybody disagree?
