Trying to understand rules as intended. I wanted to do a feral child raised by spiders. Yeah, spiders (Charlotte's web type spiders, not arachnophobia type spiders.)
Spiders are an animal companion, but in all other instances, spiders are vermin. Seems like the archetype doesn't really function with vermin for many of the abilities.
As vermin, are spiders not intended for this class? Or is it one of those ones where I just take the bullet by not gaining certain abilities as spiders don't qualify? Or should spiders apply, despite not being animals?
