Weapon focus x2

I was talking with a Gm friend of mine about different character builds and a question came up. Can you stack weapon focus with itself? Weapon focus can be taken more than once, as long as you pick a different weapon. So let's use an Alchemist for an example. He picks up weapon focus bombs, and then weapon focus long bow. Then he grabs the explosive missile discovery. Does he get +2 to his attack rolls when using explosive missle? Our general thought was no, but also thought it might be worth asking the forums. Thanks.

No, since a bonus never stacks with an identical source. In addition, in this case, only Weapon Focus (longbow) would apply anyway, since you're attacking with the bow (the bomb is a rider effect).

Masterwork weapons get a +1 to hit, Point Blank feat adds 1 to hit and damage within 30ft...

There are options, but stacking Focus isn't one of them.

So you wouldn't even get weapon focus bombs on explosive missle? That is good to know, thank you.

But yeah like I said we were pretty sure it was a no, just wanted a second opinion or nine.
