Is there any way to use my Dex or Wisdom in place of my strength to qualify for a feat

Rules Questions

I'm making a monk who is pushing Dex and Wisdom and basically neglecting Strength. This isn't too much of an issue but I also want to get the Jabbing Master feat which happens to require power attack as a prerequisite and Power attack has a prerequisite of 13 Strength...mine is 7.

There are a couple of things I had thought of as very last resorts (buy a strength boosting belt/other items, moving my pump stats into strength or just give up the feat) but I thought I would try other options first.

For reference, I can go with Dex or Wisdom for this. I can also get Weapon Finesse if need be (though I don't think that alone would do it and at that point I don't think I can fit any more). I'm doing a two level dip into Unarmed Fighter (CL 17, monk 15/fighter 2).

Are there any solutions to this?

Not that I'm aware of, but you can do something like dipping ranger to get power attack as a style combat feat without having to meet the prerequisites. For 2 ranger levels you can pick it up. I'm sure there are other classes out there that grant you bonus feats without having to meet the prerequisites that you can do this with, but ranger is the one that comes to mind.

Scarab Sages

The hamatulatsu master monk archetype allow you to take power attack with your 6th level bonus feat. Other than that, the only thing I can think of is ranger/slayer.

I'm assuming this is a home game due to your planned level.
If you don't have weapon finesse I'll assume you are abusing a Guided amulet of mighty fists to get wisdom to hit/dam.
Can't see a 7 str monk being terrifically viable otherwise.

that being the case I'd suggest you ask your GM if Piranha Strike would be a viable substitution for power attack in the style.

this is one of the rare times the stat requirements aren't carried up. So 2 lvls of ranger/slayer, or only have it while raging with an Id Bloodrager with the anger focus. Or find other way to get power attack for free.

Thank you all for the help with this. I decided that the easiest way to do this was to Archetype as a Hamatulatsu as Imbicatus said so I don't further give up class bonuses for a feat (I'm already multiclassing for 2 levels as is).

Happy to help!
