Animal Companion Critical Threat Range

Advice

Is there any way to increase the critical threat range of an animal companion? I have a build that thrives on crits, and I'm looking to find any PFS legal ways to improve my AC's threat range.

Improved crit feat or a keen amulet of mighty fists are all I know.

Scarab Sages

If they have a gore attack you can use Orc Tusk Blades.

If my AC uses the ork tusk blade is it still considered a natural attack? Can it be enhanced by an AoMF?

It's still a natural attack, and can still be enhanced by Magic Fang or an AoMF. However, enhancement bonuses don't stack, so if you enchanted the blades, you would only take the highest enhancement bonus.

What about special property bonuses? If I made the blades +1 keen and gave the AC an AoMF of menacing, would the gore attack function as a +1 Keen Menacing attack? Awesome, but maybe OP.

Out of curiosity, what's the animal?

Short answer, expect table variation. RAW, it works, but at the same time, you can never have more than a +10 bonus.

Currently I have an ape, but it doesn't look like there is a way to significantly increase his threat range.

Nom I'm just theory crafting a future character. To answer your question, I've been pondering a wollopid.

Ah, looks like the wollopid is not PSF legal.

The PFS gods are not just ones.
