Rules Questions

I have read books, net-references, guides and forums almost 8 hours, but I haven't yet found how gunslinger can reload his gun free after each shot. If I understand this right, she can use this ability only once per round.

Lightning Reload (Ex): At 11th level, as long as the gunslinger has at least 1 grit point, she can reload a single barrel of a one-handed or two-handed firearm as a swift action once per round. If she has the Rapid Reload feat or is using an alchemical cartridge (or both), she can reload a single barrel of the weapon as a free action each round instead. Furthermore, using this deed does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

And Jolly's Guide tells:
"Wow, this is way too late to matter. By the time this comes up, you’ll already be free action reloading."

So, where you get it?

Also, ammonitions are damn prizey. I will start business of smelting silvercoins and selling them as bullets. Value x 250 = huge profit!

rapid reload. It reduces the load time of pistols down to free action.

2 handed guns are a bit more complicated. Basically, to make them worth it, you need the musket master to get them down low enough to be covered by rapid reload.

With rapid reload you can load
in free action: Light or hand crossbow
in move action: Heavy Crossbow or 1-handed firearm
in standard action: 2-handed firearm

Alchemical cartridges + Rapid Reload.

Quote:
Alchemical cartridges make loading a firearm easier, reducing the time to load a firearm by one step (a full-round action becomes a standard action, a standard action becomes a move action, and a move action becomes a free action)

Yes, firearm ammunition (especially cartridges) is expensive. However, the issue is most noticeable at low-level play, where (just about) everything (worthwhile) is expensive.

In addition, gunslingers get Gunsmithing as a bonus feat and should invest 1 skill rank in Craft (Alchemy):

Ultimate Combat, Gunsmithing feat wrote:
Crafting Ammunition: You can craft bullets, pellets, and black powder for a cost in raw materials equal to 10% of the price. If you have at least 1 rank in Craft (alchemy), you can craft alchemical cartridges for a cost in raw materials equal to half the price of the cartridge. At your GM's discretion, you can craft metal cartridges for a cost in raw materials equal to half the cost of the cartridge. Crafting bullets, black powder, or cartridges takes 1 day of work for every 1,000 gp of ammunition (minimum 1 day).

Liberty's Edge

Using the deed also province AOO.

Duh. They are pricey like tulips.

1 bullet has weight 1/60 of lb, less than coin, which is 1/50 of lb.
Silver bullet costs 25 gp, while the value of silver in coin is 0.83 sp.
So, you can make 1000 bullets per day. I just change the metal and melt silver value of 833 gp. That makes 25,000 gp value in bullets! I'm going to melt every coin I get and make bullets out of them and use them as cash.

Who is going to arrest me?

Edit: If lead cost 5 cp/lb, then cost of bullets is 600 times their weight. Even better!
