Presteige Class-Charisma

Advice

I am creating a character for an adventure. So far, my character is Encinall, a half-elf that is a first level skald. I'm thinking of multi classing into the Noble Scion prestige class when I meet all of the requirements. Is this a good idea? Is there any other charisma based prestige classes out there?
Thanks in advance!

Well...

You'd do best as a single-class character.

That said, Noble Scion is wonderfully broken if your GM lets you build your cohorts. At 15th level, you can have a cohort the same level as you. Said cohort can be 15th level, and have 10 levels in Noble Scion, allowing him to have a cohort the same level as himself. This cohort would be 15th level, allowing this to continue ad nauseam.

If your GM gimps your Leadership feat, or you don't expect to get to that level, you'd be much better off staying single-class Skald. Noble Scion doesn't have much to offer besides leadership.

Psst... Don't tell anyone, but... Skalds aren't really "Charisma based" themselves.

Thanks for your advice!

VRMH.. Really? **puts on a confused face**

Well, they only need a Cha of 16 by the time they get to level 16, to have access to all their spells. Add to that the fact that they need a bit of Str, decent Con, some Dex and Int...
Spread stats are the best for Skalds, Bards and their ilk.

You might want to look into the "Obedience" feats (specifically Deific and Celestial), since they allow access to Evangelist/Mystery Cultist PrC's. Some deities grant boons that are charisma focused (such as Calistria, Arshea to name but two) but in general there is no "charisma PrC" that I'm aware of, that fits the Skald to a tee.
