Witches and Memorize Page

Rules Questions

basically i'm wondering if there is any way a witch can use the memorize page spell to gain spells.

Assuming my witch has memorized a page with a spell on it (either out of a spellbook or from a scroll)
1) does memorize page allow the witch to scribe a scroll from that memory?
2) if they reproduce the page form memory (but not as a scroll) can other spellcasters learn/transcribe the spell?

if anyone thinks of any other way it might be possible i'd like to hear it.

P.S. if it is not actually possible for a witch to use this to learn spells then why is it on the witch list?

It does have mundane uses other than increasing your spellbook.

I don't think a witch could scribe a scroll from the memory. The spell says you can't duplicate the magic. From the text of the spell, I don't think other casters could transcribe either, but that is up to more interpretation.

A witch can't borrow a wizard's spellbook to learn new spells. They have to use a scroll or find another witch's familiar to learn from.

Actually they can... however the wizard won't get anything back but a pair of covers with ashes between them. :)

Actually come to think of it... not even the ashes.

Sadly, no. There are three ways listed for witches to learn new spells: leveling up, familiar-to-familiar transfer, and from a scroll.
