Where does Ra live?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Shadow Lodge

I'm going to be running a planes-hopping game for some people soon and one of them is a worshiper of the god Ra - since it's hard to find information on the Osirian Pantheon, I was wondering where he would reside. The obvious place would be Axis, but none of the other Osirian gods are around there so I'm not sure where to find them.

Solar deities are sometimes seen as living in stars. You could have him live in (a? the?) sun above Axis, providing light to it, so the PCs would get to travel to a star to meet him.

(Presumably, there's a safe route. XD Axis is nothing if not orderly and practical.)

Remember, it's your game, so the gods can live wherever you want. They could be in Golarion's sun. They could be in Axis. They could be in their own Demiplane. They could be nowhere mortals are capable of reaching. Do whatever you think works best for the story you're telling. ^^

Scarab Sages

Just a cheap and quick suggestion since you ask:

If Groetus is the moon looming over Pharasma's Boneyard, maybe you could make Ra its distant sun?

Sovereign Court

Campaign premise: Ra is getting closer to the Boneyard. The forces of the multiverse are on high alert. Groetus is no longer looking at the Boneyard but facing the other way towards Ra, fear clearly oozing out of his "dark side of the moon", which now faces the Boneyard... :P

Sovereign Court

Chapter One, "Moonstruck", levels 3-5: A stench hangs over the Boneyard. It is up to the PCs to help Pharasma's waste management team figure where the odor is coming from. But watch out! Misleading re-zoning applications and ongoing maintenance projects are just a few of the obstacles plaguing the PCs in this fun-filled, high roleplaying content adventure!
