I came across this Teamwork feat from the Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Distant Shores (via D20PFSRD.com)
You're an expert at helping your partner respond faster, and vice versa.
Benefit(s): After initiative is rolled but before enemies' initiative is revealed, you may trade the results of your die roll (not including modifiers) with an adjacent ally who also possesses this feat.
So my question is: if an Inquisitor has this feat, and none of his/her allies have it, does he still swap his Initiative roll with an ally?
I see this feat working one of three ways:
1) The Inquisitor can choose to trade with an adjacent ally, and the feat works normally.
2) The Inquisitor can choose to trade with an adjacent ally, but since he/she does not have this feat, they can't trade, so they both use the same Initiative roll.
3) This feat does nothing for an Inquisitor if his/her ally does not have this feat.
The easiest way is probably #1, but thought I'd check to see what others thought.

Solo Tactics (Ex)
At 3rd level, all of the inquisitor’s allies are treated as if they possessed the same teamwork feats as the inquisitor for the purpose of determining whether the inquisitor receives a bonus from her teamwork feats. (1)Her allies do not receive any bonuses from these feats unless they actually possess the feats themselves. (2)The allies’ positioning and actions must still meet the prerequisites listed in the teamwork feat for the inquisitor to receive the listed bonus.
Emphasis and parentheses are mine.
Okay. So if an inquisitor and ally rolls for initiative, the ally have met the prerequisitive for the feat to be used, which is rule number 2.
The problem is rule number 1. The ally will never recieve any bonuses or benefit from the inquisitor's ability. So the feat won't work normally, since it is affects both parties.
I can't see the feat working in way 1), since it affects the ally.
And the conclusion of way 2) is the opposite of mine. If they can't trade, the feat wouldn't work at all. Nowhere in the feat is anything but "trade" mentioned, so it can only be used to trade.
The only way left, 3), is unfortunately the one which I believe it is.
