investigation and story telling

Pathfinder Adventure Path General Discussion

Looking for suggestions for an AP that leans more towards story telling (social interaction) and investigation. I know all AP's take some work and a DM's "personal touch", but which ones start out favoring say a more Sherlock Holmes vibe rather then Lord of the Rings?

Silver Crusade

Hell's Rebels doesn't really have investigation, but it has a lot of social and RP opportunities. My group finds it kind of annoying when they can't negotiate with something.

Council of Thieves has more of an urban investigation feel, though when I played it (second half only) it sometimes just felt like fighting the same rogues over and over again.

Zeitgeist is a 3rd party AP in a steampunk setting that might interest you. I played through the beginning, and the non-combat stuff was fun (though all the combats were gimmicky and eventually got on my nerves).

Carrion Crown has strong investigation themes in several of the modules, the second one is primarily an investigation and a court drama.

The first half of the opening module to Giantslayer is an investigation. All of the combat is rear loaded.

good info all. thank you
