So, picked up the Occult Bestiary today and was happily surprised to find 3 new player races: A variant Samsaran whose soul went to the astral realm for a bit before reincarnating, an underdark psychic human race called Munavri, and a sort of Greater Duergar.
Now, each has a few nice psychic tricks, but in the case of the duergar and Munavri have pretty high stat bonuses.
What are people's opinions on these races, considering the normal array? Are +4s to Dex or Con enough to make you wary of your players using them?

Just because there are stats for 0-HD races doesn't mean they are meant to be player races. Strix, etc are not meant to be player races but they have 0 HD stats.
Also, technically Drow Noble has the first level adjustment, it's just baked into the CR adjustment. And they also aren't meant to be a player race.

Not sure I can agree about the Strix, they are listed in the Hell's Rebels Player's Guide as a suggested possibility for a PC race. They were probably not meant to be a PC race when they were created, but that seems to have shifted. Also I think the Strix are in the Advanced Race Guide.
