Nature Training (Ex)

A hunter counts her total hunter level as both druid levels and ranger levels for the purpose of qualifying for feats, traits, and options that modify or improve an animal companion.

Was this class feature made as a catch-all for future content?
I can't seem to find any feats, traits, or options this ability applies to.
Some people suggest Powerful Shape and Advanced Ranger Trap, but those feats don't modify or improve an animal companion. I've also heard a suggestion of Shapeshifting Hunter, but that suffers the same problem.

I really like the class, but the Nature Training class feature has me stumped.

Every feat I thought this might work for actually lists animal companion as the PQ. My only guess was that it's a solution for an unknown problem caused by a hypothetical futureor odd splat book feat.

It is a list of 3 things that it applies to:
Feats.
Traits.
And options that modify or improve an animal companion.

Hunter is really cool, but this is largely a non-ability. As I don't believe even that reading expands your list very much. It really doesn't hurt the class though.
