Hey everyone,
As someone who has had life kick them in the teeth on more than one occasion, I can tell you that things like unanticipated medical expenses and unemployment are two of the worst things to struggle with. My friend and fellow game designer Chris Bennett, lead designer of Path of War and other Dreamscarred projects, is struggling with both of those issues and more, and is in danger of losing the roof over his family's head just before Christmas. I would consider it a personal favor if anyone with a few dollars to spare could go to
his GoFundMe drive and help with this unfortunate situation.
In helping Chris with this rough situation, Dreamscarred Press has thrown their full support behind him, and those who chip in to support Chris will have the opportunity to see their charity rewarded, not just by that warm fuzzy feeling that comes from helping another human in need, but with free DSP merchandise and even custom designed game materials, as detailed on Chris' GoFundMe page. This includes stuff like your choice of DSP .pdfs or even print products (dependent on your donation), so if there was something from DSP you were already eyeballing, this is a way to go ahead and pick that up while helping a member of our community at the same time.
Thanks everyone!

Thanks to everyone providing their support, whether directly through monetary contributions or with help in finding other support networks to set Chris up for success.
I just wanted to let everyone know that it has been awesome to see the gaming community rally around Chris in his time of need, and in the last 20 hours 48 people have donated, pitching in almost $2,800! Chris and his family aren't out of the woods yet and there's still a ways to go, but Chris, his family, and all of his friends at Dreamscarred are truly overwhelmed and thankful for this outpouring of support.

Hey - just wanted to stop in and thank you all for your kindness and generosity! I am completely floored and overwhelmed and you all are saviors to me and my family. I can barely use my left arm beyond as a vague club-like instrument so this is more than I could have ever hoped for!
Seriously - faith in humanity restored.
You all are the best. Thank you.
-X

Is Path of War Expanded one of the items available by donating to the project? I plan to donate tomorrow after I get a chance to go the bank and was just curious because I'd love to have it.
I know the individual .pdfs are, I would imagine that the subscription would fall under the same category as a book...? You can always pop Chris a message directly through GoFundMe or PM ErrantX here on Paizo and ask him directly.

Don't want to be a ghoul here, but has anyone received an email about rewards or something? I even sent Chris a message through GoFundMe but no reply.
I know that Chris has been collecting information for delivery of the print books, so I believe the process is moving.
I know he had a doctor's appointment this week and he's probably waiting to hear back from all the donors before sending the requests on to Andreas for fulfillment, so give him a bit. Have you already sent in the request for the particular material(s) your reward level entitles you to?

Nope, didn't know where to send the request. Last update said emails will be sent, haven't gotten one, that's why I messaged him on GoFundMe. When I didn't get a reply I asked here. Not in a hurry, just curious did anyone else get those emails.
