The runelord could make short work of the final scenario. All you have to do is banish him and discard your hand, and permanently close the location. That makes you face Deskari right away, and sounds like a buzzkill.

How can the phrasing be reworded to prevent that easy route? I know the scenario "Justifiable Deicide" was altered slightly already to prevent another easy play.

I'd suggest something like, "This location can only be permanently closed when all henchmen have been defeated." or somesuch.

And when you do, the location The Rasping Rifts card takes priority, per the Golden Rule. It says "This location may not be closed until it is empty; then it closes automatically." Since the Rifts aren't empty, you can't use Runelord Alderpash to close it.

We haven't made any changes to that scenario.


... and IMHO there is no reason you should (see other thread).
