This sentence is throwing me off:
"If you are proficient with both the scorpion whip and whip, you can use a scorpion whip in either the normal way (as a light performance weapon) or as a whip."
Does that mean that if you use it as a light performance weapon, it doesn't get 15 ft. reach, and all those benefits? If you use it as a whip, does it no longer count as a light weapon, and count as one-handed, like a normal whip?
