The Lich's Fear Aura Questions

Just some quick questions about the fear aura.
1. Can it be suppressed?
2. If the lich polymorphs or otherwise transforms, does the aura continue?
3. If someone above 5 HD fails, but stays within range when the shaken condition wears off, are they immune for 24 hours?

1) Yes.
2) Edit: I would say he needs to appear somewhat like a lich. If a lich was disguised as a kitten, I can't imagine the fear aura actually working since it's contingent on sight.
3) No. They need to make a successful save.

Based on the PRD, the fear aura is activated as a free action, so it's suppressable.
