Looking for a module / adventure path

In a recent discussion with some of my group the idea came up of at some point doing a game where our characters are sent to a more modern world similar to our current earth.
I was wondering if there was a module like that, I know about reign of winter but the idea was for a more current one.
Has any one heard of such a thing or maybe made a homebrew one like that?

I ran part of my campaign with the player's characters coming here, to this earth, from their alternate plane of existence.

The idea was (heavily) borrowed from Joel Rosenberg's "Guardians of the Flame" series. I started with the player's here, in this reality, who become their characters in an alternate reality, who eventually (as their characters) find themselves here in the player's reality.

It was a quest to find the bone shard of a saint that I placed at St Vibiana's Cathedral in Los Angeles. With that, the paladin was able to make her +2 sword a +5 Holy Avenger. They then headed back to the alternate, fantasy world to continue the story.

I was running a low-magic setting in the alternate world. When they came here, magic did work - for them - but only cantrips and 1st-2nd lvl spells. It allowed me to use some modern firearms, had great flavor, and the group enjoyed the "visit home"!


I found Modern Path to be helpful. I wrote my own adventure for it.
