Tracking is a nice addition, yes, but with the hope of getting "a faster and cheaper option for your specific address (compared to our current USPS International shipping methods)." as per the email, I tried changing me shipping options.
My monthly AP delivery changed from $6.50 to $55. (Yes, that's fifty five, I haven't missed a decimal.)
Really?

My guess is, if he's only getting an AP book every month, it falls well under the cut-off where USPS International shipping gets crazy-expensive.
And seriously? $6.50 to ship to the UK (as I surmise from the alias)? Shipping one AP volume to Texas costs $6.09, using the Cheapest Possible method. Darrell Impey UK, you're already getting a heck of a deal with your current shipping option.

I am UK based. :)
I know that I'm already getting a good deal. So good in fact that I'm paying roughly the same for postage, hard copy, pdf copy and interactive maps pdf combined, as I would to pick up a single hard copy off if a UK shelf. And that's before I take getting Pathfinder Advantage discount on other products into account.
I just found the change involved, as it had been promoted to me as "a [potential] faster and cheaper option for your specific address" slightly ludicrous.

Just received my first UPS shipment. Two days earlier than estimated, almost a week earlier than the USPS priority option and a few dollars cheaper. There were no handling fees, no problems with customs and the tracking worked a treat.
It's a bummer it can't go to a PO Box, but my wife has an afrikaans expression for that: "Complaining with a loaf of bread under my arm".
Thanks again. :)

I am going to echo Steve here - than you very much for adding the UPS International option. I just received my shipment (I am based in Perth, Australia, for the record) - likewise, it was 2 days earlier than had been estimated, and a whole week or more earlier than I normally would receive it under USPS Priority, and the cost was comparable, especially considering no handling/courier fees.
The UPS International option won't be for everyone, I suspect, but it's already proven itself my preferred option for going forwards with :)
Cheers again folks for this option - greatly appreciated!

I have, more or less, received my first shipment.
And to be honest I'm not so sure what to make out of it.
Good:
1. It didn't even take a week to get it. Previously it was ~4 weeks with Cheapest possible (Standard Postal). So yes thats a lot faster.
2. I'm able to track it.
Bad:
1. Shipping Cost went through the roof. From ~15-20$ to 56$. So I can't say that this is anywhere near to be Cheaper. This is something I might be able to live with BUT
2. Customs. Up to now I had to go to the customs office to collect the shipment and pay the appropriate customs. Which is totally fine.
Now the customs is all handled directly between UPS and the Customs office and based on the amount I would have to pay to the UPS guy the declaration seems to be wrong AND they demand an extra fee of ~16 EUR just because they handled it for me. Something I haven't asked for and also can't prevent them from doing.
While I could work out the wrong declaration with the customs office I can't do anything against the extra fee of UPS.
The Point 2 is nothing I think Paizo can do anything about but I would like to mention it as a feedback.

I certainly didn't get the handling fees that others are referring to, however Australia rarely levels customs on orders less than $1000, so I suspect that's the reason).
In terms of cost, I think it's for people who were previously using USPS international priority, as well. It's not a cheap option, but it's cheaper than the other expensive, quick option (barring the handling fees above).
