Three years ago I stood in my booth, in the expo hall at GenCon. I was demoing RPGWithMe, a completely browser-based, cross-device RPG experience. It combined character sheets, character journals, campaign management, play-by-post, a commercially licensed media library and a realtime virtual tabletop. All systems were integrated so that you could seamlessly move between gameplay modes. Take your iPad or Android device to a face-to-face game and use your digital character sheet. Then during the off weeks, use it in a PbP game, with full embedding of rolls, spells, attacks, etc. Then get the whole group online together and play a realtime game in the browser.
We had excellent support for Pathfinder, including importing characters directly from Hero Lab. Our Pathfinder players were really happy with the system.
I tried to pitch the product to Paizo, who had just begun work on their own VTT. I was not able to make any progress there. I couldn't even really get in touch with decision makers. Now, three years later, it looks like the Paizo Game Space product is basically dead. Personally, I feel that we could have worked together to make something great, but nothing panned out from my efforts. Unfortunately, I had to shut down RPGWithMe, mainly for marketing reasons. I couldn't get the word out to enough gamers quick enough. All my marketing channels were blocked or shut down (it's a long, unpleasant story).
Since I built RPGWithMe, I've published Durandal (http://durandaljs.com/), one of the most popular frameworks for building JavaScript apps in the world. I also spent 10 months working as a consultant to Google on Angular 2.0 (https://angular.io/) and Angular Material Design (https://material.angularjs.org/latest/#/). After realizing that Angular 2.0 was heading in the wrong direction, I left to create a next generation web app platform: Aurelia (http://aurelia.io/). We're in alpha now and already have thousands of developers all over the world building with our product. Our Beta launch is coming up in a few weeks.
Now, I'm considering re-building RPGWithMe with Aurelia. The first version of RPGWithMe was amazing, but this new version will easily surpass that and any other browser-based VTT. Since I've had a hard time getting in touch with the right people at Paizo, I'm leaving this here as sort of a calling card. This may not be totally appropriate, so if not, feel free to delete this post, and I apologize. However, if you are interested in talking about possibilities, please get in touch.

As a Minnesota sports fan this sounds perfect for me.
All the promise of putting together the right pieces to build a team that should be a contender, with stars in my eyes and butterflies in my stomach I wait for this to come to fruition, I berate everyone with explanations about how good it could be and why this time is different, I believe in the potential to the exclusion of all others and reason... then I am crushed and hit the bottle when it all falls apart.
