I'm always confuse why Silvanshee only has 1 Lay on Hand per day as oppose to 2. Since it has 12 CHA, shouldn't it be able to use Lay on Hand twice per day? Other Agathions seems to follow the normal progressing of Paladin ability.

If I gives my Silvanshee familiar a Headband of Alluring Charisma, would it be able to use more lay on hand per day or will it forever stuck at 1/day?

It used to be that Agathions got Lay on Hands as a paladin using their HD for the paladin levels, but when people pointed out this meant the Silvanshee became a truly great familiar, they nerfed the entire type down to just 1/day.

EDIT: Or not. That's strange... GUess they just nerfed the Silvanshee then. Poor form, Paizo.

Thanks for the answer. Just out of curiosity, does this means Silvanshee has 2 Lay on Hand per day before the change (2 Paladin Level + 1 CHA).

Anyway guess I'll just go with Faerie Dragon familiar instead.

Silvanshee are not paladins. They simply have a bestiary feature which is simmilar but operates by silvanshee mechanics... not paladin ones.

The ruling was clarified when silvanshee were obviously too good not to choose.
