Raging Swan Press is nearing another epic milestone, and we need your help.
Our Patreon campaign is only $25 away from hitting its next milestone. If we reach $300 per release, our designer pay rate increases to 7 cents a word. I want to pay our designers what they are worth, and we are so close to victory.
Support us. Pledge just $2 a book and get our GM Resources, adventures and supplements earlier and cheaper. You set how much you pledge a month and you can leave at any time.
Your time is precious. Make your gaming life easier. Join our Patreon campaign.

I'm in as well. After careful consideration, I have re-allocated funds from another patreon with which I was unsatisfied, and you now have my support.
Thanks so much for your support. I hope you find our Patreon worth sticking with! With your contribution we edge ever closer to our goal! I'm hoping to be able to announce my designers' pay rise very soon!

Have to say I'm on my second month of the Patreon support and have been delighted with what I have received thus far. Don't have lots of time right now to read them, but they all get a quick skim and then the additional supplemental free stuff is just gravy.
Excellent.I'm very glad you find it all useful and that you'll be sticking around!

I'm fairly certain you set an amount (say, $5), and this amount is paid for each product the Swan releases for a given month. So if Creighton puts out two products in a month, your total expense will be $10.
Correct!
So, for example, if you pledged $2 a project and I released three supplements priced $2.45 or less that month your expenses would be $6 and you would get all three books. If you pledged $5 a project, your expenses would be $15 but you'd get everything we release no matter how much it cost--as an extreme example you would have got GM's Miscellany: Dungeon Dressing for $5! At the $5 level you also get 50% off coupon for any physical print products released that month.
However--you can cap you total monthly spend. So, for example, if you pledged $2 a project but capped your spend at $4 you would still get all the $2.45 value books, but the most you'd ever be charged a month would be $4.
I hope that makes things clearer!

Ok, this is probably a pretty silly question, but I don't really understand this line

EDIT: I think I get it. if I cap at $4 then I will get two of the $2.45 books but in case you release $2.45 books I will not get the third, correct?

No. If you pledge at the $2 level you get all the books worth $2.45 or less I release that month no matter your cap. So--for example--you could cap your support at a total of $2 for the month and still get all three books. The cap is important for you so that you can budget effectively. I would much rather a long-term commitment of (say) $4 a month than unlimited support you cancel after only a month or two.

It does seem like a very good deal.
I almost feel guilty for asking, but, for a pledge of $5 caped at $5 what are the benefits?
At the $5 pledge level you get all our electronic products released in a given month no matter how much they cost. You also get a 50% coupon for any print product released that month for use at RPGNow or DriveThruRPG. You get these benefits whether you cap your support at $5, $10 or whatever.

That's a great deal. Ok, I'm in, But since I don't buy print material i can't promise to not downgrade to $2

No need to buy print material, the discount is there if you want it, and you are at no obligation to use them (though I find myself wanting to do so very soon). I'd stay at the $5 level if I were you, as you get a load of benefits (and very good books) for the cost of 2 fancy coffees a month.
I wish it were that coffee was not some strange standard for monetary budgeting, but alas... it is so.

Alas, the international price of dollar is sky high at the moment. Just past month I had to pay the double I had bought in july. And it could increase, so who knows.
Thanks so much for joining up. You pushed us over the threshold! Our next milestone is crushed! It looks like a double bourbon night for me.
In regards to the dollar and the half-price print books where are you based? I might be able to find some other way of getting them to you that doesn't involve the dollar.
