so I've seen multiple posts (many by the guy in charge of the kineticist playtest) saying that weapon finesse should be usable with kinetic blade/whip, but a pfs gm has said it's not. He also doesn't take posts from the guy in charge of the playtest that it should be, because designers may have different intentions than an author; his core issue seems to be that the ruling for kinetic blast says that blasts are never wielded, regardless of the form infusion used, so they can never be finessed. So I have two questions, a) any chance we'll see an errata or something to make it expressly clear what feats and actions can be used with blade/whip (not just finesse, sunder, magus spell combat, etc.), and b) is he correct.

Kinetic Blade is treated as a light weapon.
Weapon Finesse works with light weapons.
Being unable to "wield" a Kinetic Blade blocks things like Arcane Strike from working, since those specifically state that you must be "wielding" a weapon to gain its benefit.
Weapon Finesse has no such line.
PFS has no specific exceptions regarding this, your GM was simply mistaken.

Nefreet is correct. The exact wording:
Benefit: With a light weapon, elven curve blade, rapier, whip, or spiked chain made for a creature of your size category, you may use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on attack rolls. If you carry a shield, its armor check penalty applies to your attack rolls.
