Mountless Cavalier Archetypes

Hey all,

Just wondering, does anyone know a 3pp I could order with some mountless Cavalier archetypes, other than the one in the d20pfsrd?

There is only one mountless Cavalier archetype? Paizo has 4 and there the Inspiring Commander or the archetype packages from Rogue Genius Games where you swap some class features for others.

doesnt HAVE to be a samurai, can trade weapon proficiencies out for bastard sword and such and flavor him as a horseless knight...

you should try it out, LOADS of fun to play.

I played mine as sort of a drunken failed Jedi, the character was actually Lawful Evil.
I was recruited (in real life) to play with this party that had no useful melee character, begging me to play a melee character, I said "can I play ANYTHING?"
Yes, as long as you play FULL BAB.... oh really?

the character was busy washing his sorrows most of the time in gallons of ale. so the other PCs had to come get me most of the time and bribe me with larger portions of the treasure than my fair share to participate.

It was great.

The "evil" part only came out when I was sober and someone was trying to take my booze away.

Yes... but that's ALSO the problem....
was a GREAT PC.

Try out that class as horseless knight, youll love it.

I prefer Daring Champion for my mount free Cavalier. I feel it does a better job as a Swashbuckler than the hybrid class, and I loved playing a halfling that had crazy damage output and a lot of team-based abilities.
