Is the cone from weapons with the scatter property increased by effects that improve distance?

Is the cone from weapons with the scatter property increased by effects that improve the weapon's range increment?

For example, if I have a blunderbuss with the distance property or if I am the target of a longshot spell while wielding a blunderbuss or other weapon with the scatter property, do those effects increase the base range of the cone when firing pellets?

IMO no: only the range for bullets is increased and not the scatter cone size.

The siege gunner gunslinger archetype is the only thing increasing cone size I'm aware of.

Was digging around looking for that, and the verbage does seem very specific for modifying the cone.

For reference:

Scattershot (Ex) At 3rd level, if the siege gunner has at least 1 grit point, she can increase the effectiveness of scattering shots from hand-held firearms and blast shots from siege engines. The cone radius of scattering shots or blast shots increases by 5 feet for every three levels the siege gunner possesses (to a maximum of 30 feet at 18th level).

Scattering radius isn't range increment, so no.

While certainly that's how the RAW reads, I can see how that would make so very little sense as to leave people wondering.

You can increase the range you throw things at, you can increase the range any "single attack" goes at, but somehow when its buckshot you can't increase it at all. Surely there should be some effect.

Maybe at least the wording on the 3pp things could be altered so it works in a way, so at least those using reasonable rules and abilities get to?
