Hello,

I bought Pathfinder The Adventure Card Game, Raise of the Runelords and signed up for the Game Ongoing Subscription without realizing that it is for the Wrath of the Righteous.

I just got my first desk (the second adventure) and realized it is not for the game that I have %)

Please, cancel my subscription.
I was also wondering if I could return the desk I got.
I did not open it - it is still in the box that I got over mail.

To note, you didn't get the "wrong" subscription; subs are a way to get the latest products as soon as they come out. Rise of the Runlelords has already been fully released over a year ago and as such is no longer the latest product in the Adventure Card Game line -- rather Wrath of the Righteous is (and Mummy's Mask after that).

It's understandable that you likely want to finish up RotR first before deciding if you want to invest in other sets, and I hope you have a blast playing through RotR :)

Each new set comes with refinements on the core gameplay as well as a brand new theme, story, and characters to try out. Skull & Shackles has a pirate theme and ship mechanic to it, whereas Wrath of the Righteous has you bashing Demons and obtaining Mythic powers.

Have fun with your game, and I hope that helps explain why you got a product you weren't quite expecting :)

Right, but I did not know all of that.
I bought the game, got really excited about it, opened the website and in there it says "This game is part of a subscription". So I am thinking "Nice! I can get all the card with a discount, once a month". I select that link and it says I can start my subscription either from "Pathfinder <10 words in here that I skip> - Adventure 2" or "Pathfinder <10 words in here that I skip> - Adventure 5".
Now I am thinking "This is really neat - they allow me to join, even while the subscription is already going on!".
And I subscribe.

Why say that an old game is part of a subscription, if cards you get though that subscription is not compatible with the game?
It is the case that on the subscription page, among those 10 words that I skipped, and did not really understand until recently, it did say that the adventure was for a different game.
But it is still very confusing to the newcomers, I think.
