My group just concluded a discussion wondering if Life Link would continue after breaking line of effect between the Life Oracle and his target.
So, here is the scenario. The Life Oracle (10th level) establishes a connection between himself and his companions. The group goes off adventuring. They get ambushed in some ruins. The Oracle's companions maneuver around the ruins while the battle rages, but the ruins break line of effect between them. However, the companions never move more than 40 ft from the Oracle (as the crow flies).
Would Life Link continue as normal, even without line of effect (technically passing through the walls of the ruins)?
Would Life Link only work when the companions return to having line of effect?
Or would Life Link be completely severed when the line of effect was lost, requiring the Oracle to establish another connection to them?
I know what our group decided to use for our campaign but I'm curious as to what people here think. Maybe an FAQ candidate? :)

The line of effect only needs to be there to establish the spell (or in this case, supernatural ability) unless otherwise specified. In this instance, you only need line of effect to start a life link, and then you just have to stay within the range of the ability.
Also, the ability specifically states what ends it.
This bond continues until the bonded creature dies, you die, the distance between you and the other creature exceeds medium range, or you end it as an immediate action (if you have multiple bonds active, you may end as many as you want as part of the same immediate action).
Other than a few other cases where the ability would be forcibly ended (antimagic field) the ability should persist through solid walls.
