Second Seekers (Roheas)

I am working on my 4th PFS character, as two of them are now only able to play in the top 2 tiers of the campaign and one of them is my character that I refuse to give GM credit to.

I decided I wanted to go Dark Archive but, almost paradoxically, I wanted to go non-gish melee fighter since my other two characters are an arcane duelist and a sorcerer. Part of me wanted to build a bard specifically trying to make use of the Whip of Vermin spells but have decided against it just to avoid the weird looks people might give me when i tell then i have multiple PFS bards.

Anyway, I kinda have an idea for Hellknight and wanted to share what I came up with to see what people might think of it.

Half-Elf
LN
Deity: Abadar
Traits: Reactionary, Scholar of the Great Beyond (+1 to knowledge planes and History, get one as class skill)

Str: 16 (with the +2 from half-elf)
Dex: 13
Con: 14
Int: 12
Wis: 10
Cha: 14
Skills: Swim, Climb, Intimidate, Knowledge (planes) dips in Diplomacy, Perform: Oratory during Cavalier levels

1: Cavalier (Castellan) 1 - Combat Reflexes
1HE: Skill Focus: Intimidate
2: Cavalier (Castellan) 2 - Order of the Cockatrice (Dazzling Display)
3: Fighter (Phalanx) 1 - Performing Combatant, Hero's Display
4: Fighter (Phalanx) 2 - Step Up
5: Fighter (Phalanx) 3 - Stand Still
6: Hellknight 1 Order of the God Claw
7: Hellknight 2 - Power Attack
8: Hellknight 3 - Discipline: Pentamic Faith (Travel Domain)
9: Hellknight 4 - Savage Display
10: Hellknight 5
11: Hellknight 6 - Discipline: Fearsomeness, Masterful Display
12: Hellknight 7
13: Hellknight 8- Following Step Up
14: Hellknight 9 - Discipline: Summon Devil
15: Hellknight 10 - Step Up and Strike
16: Cavalier 3
17: Fighter 4: Weapon Focus, Weapon Specialization

And really anything beyond 11 is just me fantasizing anyway.

The basic idea is to be able to make good use of the Tower shield with the Combat Reflexes half of the build and really make it pretty close to impossible to actually hit me with the shaken half. I like the hellknight because it still lets me get that delicious fighter Armor boons while still being able to benefit from using a reach weapon from behind a Tower Shield.

The hellknight also has the nice roleplay bonuses, the detect chaos and smite chaos adding some extra utility to the character and granting me the travel domain which can help me out of all of those movement hazard spells like Black Tentacles that fighters seem to struggle with. On top of all that it has those save bonuses that help me resist enchantments which are another classic weakness of the fighter.

The build is slower than it could be as a straight fighter but I feel like the hellknight adds enough to my usefulness that its worth slowing down. The cavalier levels are for the better skill access and the feat economy of allowing me to not take Weapon Focus which is nice but not needed here really. And since Skill Focus gels here and I am multi-classing half-elf seemed a no brainer.

But I am worried about it's every-level utility. Does this look like a character that is going to be mostly good the whole way? Is there another way to build this kind of tower concept?

Bump.
