When are the Open Call entries due?

The Official Rules indicates entries are due by 11:59 PM PST on 8/16/15.

The main RPG Superstar Season 9 page says entries are due by 11:59 PM on 8/17/15.

I believe the main page needs to be corrected.

This may is likely a discrepancy in your own timezone settings versus the component on that page (the component relies on PST). The due date is 11:59 PM PST on 8/16/15.

OK, I'm in Boston. I look at the main RPG Superstar page and it clearly says (for me) that entries are due at 11:59 PM on 8/17/2015. Isn't this a problem? Can't we use text instead of a date component?

If all else fails, choose the earliest of two dates.
Subtract one full day.
Subtract 24 hours from that.
Submit before then. :)

I'm afraid this year somebody else will have to do the countdowns. My time is limited, and something has to give. That one is the least important, so we have the old heave-ho.

If someone else (or everybody else) wants to do a countdown thread, have at it! :)

I'mm in Australia so the timezones are confusing.

No, let me amend that.

Although I am in Australia, my brain is malfunctioning so time zones present problems to my thought processes that they should not, and probably don't to others.

Happily, Paizo provides a handy little box on the main RPGSS page that alerts me to the Australian timezone-I-am-in hour when certain events (entries due, voting begins...) occur.

I've gone back in and made the contest schedule a manual component instead of pulling dates the "smart" way that conflicts with other time zones. Just be careful that these times are all Pacific :)
