Rogue Bombers & Extra Bombs Feat

Another question regarding a Rogue with the 'Bomber' Rogue Talent. Simply put, can this character select the Extra Bombs feat (which affects a class ability) in order to increase their number of bombs per day. After looking at the rules and the verbiage contained within, I am inclined to say yes, but want to run it by the forum first before I give an answer to the player in question- I will defer to the majority opinion.

Based on the wording of the rogue talent, I would have to add a yes.

Rogue Talent never states that it gives you the bomb class feature which is a prerequisite of Extra Bomb. It has to state "as the class feature"

The wording needs to be there. Here is an example of wording that allows an "extra" feat

At 4th level, a viking gains the rage ability as the barbarian class feature

I would say no.

I am inclined to say, "per RAW no, but it's not necessarily unreasonable", which makes it a FAQ candidate.

For PFS purposes, I'd have to go with no, just due to the sole prereq of Extra Bombs being "Bomb Class Feature".

I would absolutely allow it in a home campaign.

@Vanykrye and Rinaldo- exactly what I was thinking on both instances. Yes for a home game, no for PFS.
