So I have a PC with a pretty rich level 6 Summoner, who bought decided to buy a few permanency spells to make his Eidolon really strong, by buffing it's natural attacks. Is it best to try to get as many natural attacks with as much damage as possible, and it seems to work pretty well. I was wondering if there is a really good build out there for eidolons. He has the following evolutions: Flight, Bite (2d6+1d6+1d6+6), Bleed (Bite), Tail, Improved Damagex2 (Bite and Tail), Energy Attacks (Cold), Wing Buffet(1d6+1d6+3), Tail Slap (2d6+1d6+3). He has the Improved Natural Attacks feats for the wings and the bite, and the multiattack feat. What should he do in the future to improve this? What evolutions should he take? I like to have my PCs make the most out of their characters.
Note: He took a few Extra Evolution feats so he can upgrade the eidolon more, as well as the Augment Summoning feat.

First a few rules checks:
1) You say he took "a few" Extra Evolution feats. At level 6, you can take Extra Evolution twice (once at 1st, once at 5th).
2) Augment Summoning only works for summoning spells, so it doesn't effect the eidolon when called through the usual ritual - only when you use the Summon Eidolon spell (which has a limited duration).
3) Your damage isn't correct for the tail. You've got one damage increase (the evolution) which should give you a d6->d8. To get to 2d6 you need another damage die increase.
What's the base form?
The easiest thing to improve your damage is to switch the tail or wing buffet to claws. You get two of them for one evolution point (assuming your base form comes with limbs) and they are primary attacks. Two attacks at d4+6 beats one at d6+3 with a -2 attack penalty. You can also get a primary Gore attack (2 evolution points).
Taking bite again would give you 1 1/2 Str to damage, which is another good boost, especially if you take Power Attack later (it is pretty effective if you have multiple primary natural attacks).
I also wouldn't have taken Multiattack as a feat since you get it for free at 10th level (with claws you'd only have one secondary attack anyway).
However, consider how much you actually want to improve the eidolon. Because of the number of natural attacks they can get, eidolons have been known to outdamage party martials, and when one character's pet is more powerful than another whole party member (and the summoner has spells besides) it can be discouraging. I would recommend taking care not to overshadowing other PCs.

I would think not since it's a specific creature, it's not a new creature each time it's summoned.
Alright, thanks, he did take only two feats, but I didn't know that augment summoning didn't work for it, and I should look over their characters more carefully, thanks for the advice again! I've also done test battles with the other PCs, and the Eidolon always loses, because the person they fight always manages to take out the Summoner first, instead of the Eidolon.
EDIT: I also did the math wrong when pasting this over to paizo, so the tail 2d6 was a mistake on my part.
Base Form is Serpentine or Biped, I need to find out, one moment.
EDIT: It's Biped, but he isn't showing the claw attack granted from his Biped form on the document.....

Huh. Then his build is technically illegal for 6th level because he exceeds the max of 4 attacks (2 claws + bite + tail + wing = 5), though if he is pretending the claws don't exist I wouldn't have a problem with it.
He really should just drop the tail or wing evolution and use the free claws, though.

You say your PC is pretty rich. Is the GM know that having PCs equipped above the recommended gear values on page 399 is often bad for a campaign? Especially if only some PCs are while others are not, or others are even below. It often leads to the GM feeling a necessity to over challenge the over geared PC which then can too far out pace anothef PC not so over equipped.
