Kang steps toward the hole... 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 and spots something strange as he does! Around the edges of the pit, more rotting boards are ready to give way. Craft check to try to shore them up.

Barin opens the door and sees: The furniture in this once-fine dining room was crushed by the debris falling from the floors above. What remains is sodden and mostly unidentifiable. Nothing seems useful or valuable in here, but there is a deep smell of rot and mildew pervading the place.

Molly detects no magic anywhere.

Zac tries to light the fireplace, but the wood is damp and just fizzles.

Indigo doesn't see anything in the pit, save some detritus and jagged wood chunks. Definitely not something he'd want to land in!

As Barin enters, he hears that same scratching from under the floors, but it's louder and more insistent now. As he frowns at it, suddenly spectral hands erupt from under the floorboards! They claw at his legs!

Barin Will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 Barin cries out in pain as the spectral hands dig painfully into his skin, causing long bleeding wounds!

Initial Damage: 4d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 4, 1, 5) + 10 = 26 slashing. The wounds bleed fiercely! Barin feels his legs are not able to bear him as fast anymore! -10' penalty to your speed until fully healed!

Zac grabs Barin and jerks him out of the room, saving him from future slashing.

The spectral hands still wave, grabbing blindly for victims! Anyone trained in Religion can recognize this effect as a haunt. Furthermore anyone trained in Religion can attempt to exorcise it with a Religions check.

Kang starts at the sudden apparition. Not sure what he can do to help, he pulls out a flask of alchemist's fire and flings at the spectral hands, then quickly retreats.

Anji is out of healing right? If so...

Kang takes a moment to catch his breath as the ghostly presence is exorcises. Until he realises how close to death Barin is. He dashes over, quickly mixes an elixir and pours it down Barin's throat.

Use 1 infused reagents to make Elixir of Life (Minor) - heal 1d6 HP (will let Barin roll it himself) and +1 item bonus to saving throws against diseases and poisons for 10 minutes.

"Please, if you would, I will attend to your wounds the old fashion way." You can see as Anji prepares the wound, that is clearly disappointing that his magical abilities have been drained for the day.

Barin is brought around and mostly healed, if not wholly so. He limps, as his legs are damaged from the haunt. -10' to your speed.

You head to the north door. Only a single, aged worktable still stands in one corner of this room, though the clay fragments of an oven and rusted metal suggest it was once a kitchen. The ceiling has completely fallen in, leaving this room open to the sky above. Doors stand in the east and west walls.

Anji moves through the empty room to the next door and opens it. Everything this room once held now lies jumbled over the floor in a soggy mess: torn pages, scraps of fabric, and splintered remnants of furniture. Doors hang askew in the north and east walls, but the door to the south has been smashed from its hinges.

However, a faintly glowing wand lies on the remains of a table.

Barin ignores the glowing wand and limps toward the door.
Ivy has overgrown the empty window frame, casting this room into cool shadow. A low shelf, its wood warped and cracked, stands against the south wall, and a desk has been overturned and smashed in the eastern part of the room.

Kang slips into the room, where the whispers grow louder. They seem to be whispering about wanting to rest, wanting to end their suffering. Spectral shapes hover at the edge of his vision: men and women trapped in terrifying undead bodies, only seeking release!

Although not a really trained too much, Indigo will slowly tend to Barin and apply his "Lay On hands" though out the evening to bring him back to better health. Once that is done, Indigo agrees with Anji "This will do fine. We are large enough that a simple watch of pairs should be fine. I am used to broken sleep so I can take the mid as needed"

Indigo slashes into the big guy with a hacking strike! His first strike hits and seems to encounter a stone wall, as the guy seems a lot more solid than most zombies!
