Advice

The basic idea is to make somebody who is a Dethklok style over the top heavy metal self-parody but who can still pull his weight in a PFS scenario. This was inspired by the Lone Wolf Rider build and the Mad Max flaming guitar guy.

Crunch:
Yngve Skullcrusher
Half-orc Hunter 3, Cavalier 1, Bard 1
Alternate racial traits: Sacred Tattoo (of course)
Traits: Fate's Favored, Dirty Fighter

STR: 18 (16+2)
DEX: 12
CON: 14
INT: 13
WIS: 10
CHA: 10

Animal companion: Wolf -> Worg
Feats:
1: Undersized Mount
2: Outflank
3: Combat Expertise, Pack Flanking
4 (Cavalier): Escape Route
5: Monstrous Mount

His primary weapon is a Lute of the Battle Ready with continuous flame cast on it. He opens up battles by hitting a few power chords on the lute, then transforming it into a battle axe and charging in to smash heads. His armor will all have gratuitous iron spikes that he never actually uses for anything. The Worg gets a skill point invested in Perform so it can provide backing vocals.

Did I miss anything that would make him either more effective or more metal?

Skald would be more metal, but maybe not more effective. Working in some kind of intimidate-action would be cool, but I'm not sure where you would put it.

Two words: Armor Spikes.

Can you do a raging song with Perform(strings)? For some reason I thought you could only do it with Perform(sing) but I'm not seeing the restriction now. Any class that takes away the mechanical justification for the flaming battle lute is a no go.

Does inspired rage stack with your own rage? Level 6&7 are probably a Mounted Fury Barbarian to pick up Ferocious Mount and Amplified Rage (the pure optimizer would ride a horse and go Hunter 3/Barb 2 to get Amplified Rage on line at 5, IMO).

For the intimidate, I could switch out dirty fighter for the omen trait. No CHA modifier, but a total trait bonus of +3 to intimidate with the ability to once per day swift action intimidate somebody into being shaken. Plus the fluff is pretty metal.

If you are looking to get another source of rage you could go spell warrior skald, add shock or something to the bsttle lute.
