I've been doing that particular emoticon for something like 10 years and constant emoticon adding for much longer. I've been a citizen of the internet since 93 or 94 and I learned early that emotion doesn't translate well, so punctuating my sentences with emoticons kept my meaning clear. =D Here's a post from about 3 years ago and my very first post on paizo.com

As Kalindlara stated earlier, both Sneak Attack and Poison Use are class features and you get those for free as a level 1 ninja.
Feats are a different ability that you get at first level as well as every odd-level. Some classes gain more feats for free as part of their class features. There are many types of feats, but as a ninja the main two types that will be most helpful are "Combat Feats" and "General Feats".
Because you are a level 1 half-elf ninja, you will begin play with two feats. The first feat you receive is from being half-elf (assuming you are just the normal half-elf) and it must be Skill Focus. You may pick any one skill for the skill focus feat and you will gain a bonus from that feat to that skill. So if you choose "Stealth" for your skill focus, then you will get an extra +3 bonus to all Stealth checks (when you reach level 10, if you have 10 ranks in stealth it will then be a +6 bonus instead).
Your second feat is from being a first level character. Take a look through the general and combat feats listed in the books available to you. You can also search the Paizo PRD if you would like to make it easier.
