By the way, are there any classes that are banned?
Since this is an interest check, I'd recommend waiting until the GM decides if he wants to run the game, and then seeing what classes are *allowed.* (Nothing personal, just... people tend to get way too jumpy in general during interest checks for games like this)

Well, I've looked at the vigilante class and I'm totally unimpressed. I can't see anything it can do that I can't do better with a different class.
I'm hoping they will bring out a version 2 shortly and it will be much better, but I can't see the class as it currently stands inspiring me in any way.

Interested in this one; notion of a Golarian superheroes game is one that's been mused and mulled time infinitum on the boards, but it always piques interest.
I've long been interested in bringing a version of Sasquatch (Walter Langkowski) to the virtual table (am an old school Marvel Zombie and 'quatch was one of my favourite characters as a kid).
Would be likely looking at him being a multi-class of Alchemist/Medium.
Looking at the Vigilante playtest, there's some options for a bunch of different character types - Etrigan the Demon springs to mind as another favourite that might be possible depending on the game's direction and vibe :)
On the actual game front, think assisting in the campaign building and Super-Golarian is a great opportunity and one I'd be up for if selected.

@Butterfly with Bullet Wings; apologies am re-reading your original suggestion and there was no mention of comic universe specific-adaptions etc. Jumped the gun there!
The more I read the more the Vigilante gestalt or multiclass is a very cool notion, one that will produce a very diverse group of superheroes.
Already have been struck by inspiration: Smilodon - a Fanglord skin walker (Were Tiger bloodline) whose a noble who indulges his feral nature as a hunter of Absalom's lowlife criminals... Sorcerer (Rakshasa Bloodline)/Vigilante... is a possible option for some interesting powers/abilities.

My suggestions since this is a new class.
Keep it simple.... standard races, no gestalt no third party.. DEFINITELY NO MYTHIC, unless it's for building tough enemies for players to fight.
The superhero runs a very wide spectrum of tropes. There are tons of Republic serials where "super" heroes and villains have little more than a masked identity to set them apart from ordinary men and women.... those are your low-level vigilantes... at the higher levels, you get more four color and a higher spandex factor.

Since this is an interest check, if I could play in this super-powered Golarion campaign, I would like to play a Godling. I've always wanted to play a godling of Cayden Cailean, with a young Thor (Marvel) personality.
Other choices would be a tiefling godling of Pharisma (think Nightcrawler mixed with Deadpool), or a true national hero godling of Abadar (with Captain America-type personality).
