AP Core Challenge, Which Could Work?

Pathfinder Adventure Path General Discussion

Which APs do you think would and would not work if I were to have the PCs abide by the same restrictions as PFS CORE?

Any of them could, it would just be more challenging and lack some of the flavor specific to certain APs.

I expect the easiest would be the 3.5 paths and Council of Thieves, since they predate the non-core stuff.

Kingmaker is just Core, Serpent's Skull is mostly, Council of Thieves as mentioned:-)

All of them. The APs are designed for any class, so requiring players only to use Core classes won't be a detriment.

While the later games will include other classes, that just means you need to know those rules, not your players. (Runelords Anniversary Edition mostly uses Core classes I believe.)

They'll all be fine.

I'd feel a little sad missing gunslingers for Iron Gods and witches for Reign of Winter. But you can play those paths without them already. I'm actually running Reign of Winter without a witch right now.

Cheers!
