Hello fellow gamers.
I am trying to build a Nagaji Naga Aspirant for PFS and i have never played a druid before, or anything else that uses polymorph. I am a bit confused as to what i gain when i use the Naga form. I understand i gain the Strength, Con, Dex, movement, natural armor and bite attacks BUT what else do i gain from the form.
The ability says it is based off of Shapechange, a level 9 spell that includes other spells in it's description. The thing is none of the other spells in it's description include an Abberation as a possible type to change into.
Do i pick a base form of Naga(IE: Dark naga, Lunar Naga, Royal Naga etc) because as far as i can find there is no "True Naga" base form as referred to in the description of Naga Aspirant.
If so can i pick something like Royal Naga, a huge Abberation? I assume not as it has 5 bite attacks which seems a bit silly but if i do not gain anything else other then the bonuses listed above this is a very weak ability compared to basic wild shape.

It looks like it defines the "true naga form" you take.
At 6th level, the naga aspirant can use her wild shape ability (gained at 4th level, as normal) to assume the form of a true naga. This effect functions in a similar manner to a shapechange spell with the following exception. The druid's true naga form is unique, representing her personal evolution. When taking naga form, the nagaji's body transforms into that of a large serpent, though she keeps her own head. The naga aspirant loses her limbs and her size increases by one category, granting her a +4 size bonus to Strength and Constitution, a –2 penalty to Dexterity, and a +2 enhancement bonus to her natural armor bonus. She gains a +10 enhancement bonus to land speed and a bite attack that deals 1d6 points of damage. She can cast verbal spells in this form, but cannot cast spells with other components without metamagic or feats such as Natural Spell. This otherwise works like and replaces wild shape.
This is pretty bad since it replaces Wild Shape entirely with no type of scaling.
Also, that bite, it is supposed to be undersized like that? Also, is it supposed to be at will? because shapechange is only 10min/level instead of 1hr/level like standard wild shape. Or is it supposed to be "always on" and use the "once per round" clause? This is the only mitigating factor I can think of to "justify" the power hit.
