How to handle running out of time? Guild Play

Pathfinder Adventure Card Society

I'm currently running Season of the Righteous at my local game store and we have run out of time (store closing) two different times.

Both times have been when I've had new players and had to take more time for teaching the game.

What I'm trying to determine is do the characters still get deck upgrades even though we did not "complete" the scenario? Or is it just like the session didn't happen?

Thanks

JD

The Season of the Shackles version of the Guide to OP doc had instructions for this; I don't seem to see it in the new version of the guide to OP.

If you run out of time, it's basically the same as if you ran out of blessings in the blessing deck. Do your deck upgrades, report an incomplete and try again.

Perfect, thanks for the info I will do that moving forward.

Also, to add to what was said, if there is still potential to add new players, then I'd see if you can move the start time up 30 minutes or so.

Luckily, the places that I run games will allow me to run a little late if the game runs long but we still try to not abuse that.

Whoops, it does indeed seem to have slipped out of the guide. We'll make sure to replace it in the next update.
