Zen Caster help needed

Hello,

I wish to create a character that is about meditation, Zen, and not wasting energy (think like a Monk) but that is focussed on spellcasting... The idea is that by not being influenced by emotions, always considering pros VS cons and by not wasting energy thr character has left over energy that he translates into attacks of the air element (Sonic and electricity attacks)...

Now this can easily be RPed and then just role as an Sorcerer/Arcanist (the idea of preparing spells like a Wizard doesn't fit.)

What I'm wondering (and asking here) is if there is a class/archetype that fits this description...

The upcoming Kineticist class is all about this. There'll even be a monk-like archetype for the class. We may also get a sorcerer archetype that adds more of that flavor.

The Wildblooded sorcerer archetype, for the Empyreal bloodline, might be worth looking at. You'd have a celestial lineage rather than an elemental one, but all your casting would be Wisdom-based. You can always choose air-focused spells.

That's just off the top of my head.

Even though a cleric was not specifically designed for this, I could easily argue that with a proper deity they fit it well. The deity in question would be up for interpretation but in theory any neutral would do well. Irori and Nethys make a lot of sense for one who seek zen.

Even if not a cleric a character focused on zen should have a decent amount of wisdom and twice over if a caster. If the arcane is your prefers taste there is a wild blooded archetype for sorcerer that casts off wisdom.

have you seen the multiclass archetypes? there are many that combine the monk with casters, and I remember there was a monk/oracle elementalist that would work well with your idea. If not, just try an arcanist with the elementalist archetype and dont dump wisdom, or maybe an empyreal sorcerer with a penchant for lightning magic?
