I know I shouldn't, I know I already have way more miniatures than I can paint in a year
but I also know I now have 3 weeks to set aside several hundred dollars because my will is weak and I am so going to buying into this
Reaper Bones 3 starts tomorrow (also bump).
I threw in some money. Don't plan on getting as much as with 1 or 2 though. I got too much to paint.

That is also good but a mouse in a chain mail bikini is just better on some level

Not seeing anything that would make me want to jump on this one. Looking for more mutated/PA style offerings - or horror and there are only a few things in there that are catching my eye right now.

Did you manage to get in on the Kingdom Death one. Some fantastic horror stuff in that one. Should be shipping soon too.

I always grab the paint sets, which are at a great price point.
I like the look of Marthrangul, and I do want those Mouselings. There are a few nice looking things in the Core set too.
of course the big thing is seeing what gets added over the next few weeks.
I mean in about 36 hours they have hit 850K. Sure it's going to slow down as it progresses but damn that's a lot to get started with. Judging from the last two the Core tends to get pretty damn big by the end.

I think your optimistic about 100K a day. Day 2 was 100K, and for kickstarters day 2 is usually in the top 4 grossing. I'm guessing closer to 40K a day. Slightly less than Bones 2, which averaged closer to 50K/day.

I'd agree with this estimate. People are getting super excited with kicktraq numbers but those aren't particularly accurate.

My guess is that those people didn't follow the first few days of Bones 2 on Kicktraq. It was trending up well over 7M in the beginning . Kicktraq doesn't handle the exponential decay of the first few days very well with its initial estimates. The trend is never accurate, and the much more accurate projection takes a few days to be established. Bones 3 will follow the same trend of Bones 2, but it is significantly lower first 2 days (950K and 225K for Bones 2 vs 710K and 130K for Bones 3).
I have always loved how the first Bones defied the standard trend that Bones 2 and now 3 use. Its one of the few major kickstarters I've seen without exponential decay at the start.
There are some very interesting previews for this one, though. The possible steampunk cannon-esque thing is quite intriguing...
I've backed both previous Reaper Bones KS and am backing Bones III as well. I have so many unpainted minis, but these guys are just too cool and cheap to pass up ;)

The Core $100 sets are always a great deal. Hopefully the Bones III $100 Core set will come in at least around 150 minis again. $0.70 per mini is a great deal as they usually go for $2.75 per mini retail. So even if you only want a third of them, it's well worth it.
The whole thing looks great to me so far. I love their Heroes and Lycanthropes, Crocodileman! The Ogres are amazing as well.
Half priced paints in awesome new colors! The best deal. Not having to prime the Bones minis is a plus.

Nice ton of Lizard men in this set and there are some very good looking character models some really nice variety in there. Another Female Dwarf is always welcome.

Yep, I do really like that expansion. The Behir/asian dragon is brilliant and the bear is fantastic too.
Then there's Reiko & some more pathfinder iconics forth-coming. It'd be magnificent if they could do some Pathfinder monsters in Bones (like the Hook Mountain Ogres)
Those Pathfinder Iconics look good! I hope we'll unlock them.
I think that was because they gave out some good stuff in the core and intital targets very rapidly making it increasingly good value. This one isn't bad but it didn't take off like bones 1.
Additionally people have a lot of bones as well so while there were some very eager ppl for bones 1, they have bones fatigue/surplus after bones 2.
I would say this took off a hell of a lot faster than bones 1. It hit 1M in 3 days. Bones 1 took 25 days of Bones 1 to match the first day of Bones 3 and 28 days to hit 1M. Day 28 was when things took off for Bones 1, and then they just had to maintain and manage their 7-8 days of exponential growth.
hmm...not something I need for Pathfinder but great big artillery cannon is kind of neat looking
I think I am going to pass on this one and save up some money for the PPM one they hinted about that will come later. I can no longer paint and it costs a lot to get them painted. But a pre-painted Kick Starter to revitalize their PPM line would pull quite a bit from me.

Side note - if Paizo ever tems up with Reaper to run a PF Bones KS that includes monsters from the bestiaries, I'd have to sell a kidney.
