Anywhere I can find a brief introduction to this adventure?

I'm jumping in on a game that has already been going on for a bit and would like a small introduction into what has been going on. Basically the pitch for the adventure and general location would be nice.

It would be best to ask your group. No Adventure Path is as unique to its group as Kingmaker. ^_^

Fair enough. Is the location not a set place though? That way I could at least pick somewhere closeish for my character to be from.
