Does eldritch claws affect your fists?

Rules Questions

I mean they are treated as both natural weapons and manufactured weapons and the feat doesn't exclude them.

Since when are your fists treated as manufactured weapons?

Scarab Sages

If you are a monk, yes.

Note that you need to actually have a natural attack other than unarmed strike, or be a natural combat style ranger/slayer in order to take the feat.

If I'm not mistaken they are treated as a manufactured weapon for stuff like the magic weapon spell.

Also why the distinction of only if you're a monk? If that is the case would brawler suffice?

As long as a Dhampir's only when grappled bite attack counts I should be good.

Scarab Sages

Because only the monk's unarmed strike has the "A monk's unarmed strike is treated as both a manufactured weapon and a natural weapon for the purpose of spells and effects that enhance or improve either manufactured weapons or natural weapons" text. Without that text, unarmed strikes are weapons, but they are not natural weapons or manufactured weapons. Spells like magic weapon work on them because the target is "Weapon Touched" without specifying manufactured. Magic Fang works because it says one natural weapon or unarmed strike. The Eldritch Claws feat simply says natural weapons, so it doesn't work unless you are a monk.

Brawler, Irorian Paladin, and Sacred Fist warpriest count too because they use the monk's unarmed strike. You could also simply put on a monk's robe.
