Yea, they are treacherous.
Paizo Pathfinder Chronicle "Into the Darklands" is a great resource for this, and it gives all kinds of examples. The one thing it does not give, nor the Core Rulebook, is a base movement table for the various "standard" PC speeds.
Between light/vision issues, taking extra time so not to get lost, etc. I am trying to come up with the base number so I can apply the appropriate modifier in the Into the Darklands book.

I don't have "into the Darklands" so take this with a pinch of salt.
First I'd double check the numbers in the chronicle don't assume an unadjusted speed, a x1 modifier if you will.
Then I'd be tempted to go with trackless mountains for 1/2. To reflect the difficulties I'd envision in the Darklands. Punch in the numbers see what it looks like and if that seems too restrictive go with 3/4.

Page 12 of Into the Darklands, under Travel in the Darklands, explicitly gives movement rate modifiers for primary, secondary, and tertiary tunnels. There's no big table spelling things out explicitly (i.e. with entries for 30 ft. movement going 200 ft/hour, or whatever), but it does say you move at 1/10 the normal rate in tertiary tunnels, so you can just reference the x1 movement rate table in the CRB and apply the appropriate multiplier to the distances given there.

Yes, I know. That is what I meant by tables in Into the Darkness. It is the Base Movement that I am looking for. Do I just use the OVERLAND movement from the CRB as the Base, or do I modify that before using the modifiers in those entries?
