Wondrous Item that stores familiars?

Hi, all,

I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I'm working on 56k dial up at the moment and trying to set up for my campaign in.....seven hours (and haven't slept yet), and after about 50 minutes of searching I've not been able to find a wondrous item that stores familiars. I could have sworn I'd seen one before. Perhaps in 3.5? I'm not referring to the Hostelling armor, but an actual wondrous item that lets you store a familiar inside so they're less likely to get damaged or murdered or eat fireball.

Does that spark a memory with anyone?

I found the Figurine of the Concealed Companion here: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/artifacts/metagame-artifacts/figurine-o f-the-concealed-companion.

It's listed under 'metagame artifacts,' so it doesn't seem like a usual item.

Ugh, that took forever. Sadly not what I'm looking for, but a very interesting set of items I will be sure to consider including - my thanks!
I need something a little more mainstream that I can work a price off of, since the PCs will likely be murdering this poor person and taking their loots.

Under 3.5 there was the Familiar Pocket spell. A continuous use magic item for a first level spell like that would cost 2000gp.

YES, that's what I was remembering! Excellent. There was a belt that went with that, too. Belt of many pockets that allowed that spell. It's all coming back.

Nope, I specifically need a magical item for various reasons, as I'm adapting it for the story. The familiar pocket spell is perfect. Thanks everyone. :)
