Bladebound Magus: Slashing Only?

For a Bladebound Magus, does their black blade have to be exclusively slashing? Could it be P or S like the Manople from Melee Tactics Toolbox?

Rapier and Sword Cane are allowed, so I imagine there is precedence for slight deviation from the norm.

If it is slashing you should be good, even if it also Can impale or is blunt.

Yes, you can have such a weapon. As long as it is slashing, it doesn't matter that it's also piercing.
