Advice

Hi Is there any fun chakram throwing class builds out there? Do slayers make good chakram throwers? I am thinking that I want to play a Kitsune or a Catfolk? Do I need a certain archetype? And what feats, stats, and other stuff do I need? I am level 8.

And if you don't know what a chakram is, it's the flying Frisbee of death that Xzena warrior princess throws around.

Anything that's great with thrown weapons. I love chakram as the intermediary ranged weapons that they are.

Especially in a dungeon crawl-heavy campaign they'll often provide all the range you really need.

The rest depends heavily on the other concepts for the character, especially over level advancement.

I had a minor villain once that used chakram to lethal effect. Skeletal champion orc fighter or something.

If you're going run-n-gun, Ranger or Slayer seems like an excellent starting point. Really long-term you might be looking at such fun toys as brilliant energy phasing impervious chakram, a ring of x-ray vision, the Vital Strike feat chain and/or Pinpoint Targeting.

You can also go the dual wielding disk thrower way appling the return weapon enchantment into it. I'll would use a slayer or ranger for this build tho using your slayer talent to grant you the ranger combat style feat for two weapon fighting or thrown weapons.

The Far Strike Monk is killer with this one: can flurry with chakrams and gets Quick Draw as a bonus feat at level 1.

I run a Nagaji Divine Hunter Paladin, with the Two-handed Thrower feat.

It is quite fun.

I second the Far Strike Monk, and the slayer can be good if you use your talents to pick up the Thrown Weapons combat style.

Make sure u yell yayayhayayayah while u are throwing them!

You could even follow the Charging Hurler feat line, with Two Handed Thrower.
