I mean yeah sure Cold Iron has 30 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 10, but with out knowing how that relates to steel (being what most weapons and armor is made from by default) that means nothing! WHY IS THIS NOT LISTED SOME WHERE CONVENT?
Go to Damaging Objects.
Scroll down to Table: Substance Hardness and Hit Points.
Steel is listed together with normal iron as having Hardness 10 and 30 HP/inch of thickness.
