| Dune Drifter |
Hello all,
So I am making a gestalt character at level 5, and we are using a 25 Point Buy (I dislike point buy but I am not running the game).
My race is Kasatha, this is non-negotiable.
We have made the argeement that Kasatha can wield two two-handed weapons at one time, and would add 1.5 times their strength but only if they could get full strength to off hand, meaning I have to take Double Slice.
So my gestalt is Ranger (Skirmisher maybe)//Cleric
The reason for this is he is a Desert priest who walks the dunes thus the name Dune Drifter.
or Double D as he has been nicknamed.
So feat wise
Two-Weapon Fighting
(Ranger) Double Slice
Power Attack
Endurance (Ranger)
(I don't know what to pick for my fifth level feat, perhaps cleave?)
I can take two flaws to pick up two further feats which I am thinking will be Exotic Weapon Prof for a cool rare weapon, and possibly Weapon Focus or Furious Focus to reduce the penalties for power attack so not to stack it with Two-Weapon fightings -4.
Now can Effortless Lace be applies to one handed weapons that are being two handed, such as a bastard sword or a katana, or elven curved sword? I wonder because it would help to reduce my penalties.
I wanted to keep his armor medium or light.
I plan on using his spells to buff the party and himself, making him just more badass when he draws his two big blades when fights break out.
If I keep Ranger spells I may use those for situation buffs for myself and the party, but the Skirmisher hunter tricks seem fun, which would be better?
This character is LG, though his morale code is alien no pun intended, he follows the morale codes of his people which are strict but could be fun to introduce (All of its homebrew as they have not published enough about them.).
We do allow 3.5 material, but it has to be within reason, so no Divine Metamagic persisting a spell forever and ever. But using a feat from 3.5 or something that doesn't over power the campaign might be allowed on a case by case basis.
I am working on making this character a powerful and feared holy man, basically not quite a paladin but sort of in his determination.
