Do I have the right carrying capacity number?

Rules Questions

Ok. So I was thinking of taking the heavyload belt for a character with 16 STR. It acts like a permanent ant haul, which says it triples the weight. So, I go: 16 x 3 = 48 right? And according to the carrying capacity chart, for every +10 above the twenty range, I multiply the capacity by x4? So that'd be 400 (28 light load) x 4 = 1,600, then again to reach 48 light load of 6,400lbs for a light load?

I must be doing this wrong as that seems absurdly high...

You multiply what you can carry, not your strength score. So with that belt and a Strength of 16 you'd have a light load of 228 lbs.

Ah. That makes a whole lot more sense. Thanks. :)

No, it says triples the weight, not triples the Strength score. So find your three loads (max of 230 pounds) and triple those values (690 pounds as a heavy load).
